Kia ora, I’m Lisa Boltman and like many of you, I have a few identities.
First and foremost I'm a mother to three loud, messy and boisterous little boys. Fortunately I married someone who is very supportive and hands on with the kids which allows us to both work in professional roles and keep somewhat of a happy household ticking along.
I am a senior leader and HR professional who has worked in learning & organisational development roles across a number of corporate and professional service organisations both in New Zealand and the UK. These include Airways, Bell Gully, Fonterra, Crossrail UK and Eurostar UK Ltd.
I’m also a qualified and passionate Coach and hence I've set up Infocus Consulting so I can partner with people who really want to make a positive shift in a certain area of their life. Be it leadership, career, or you’re in a state of transition and seek clarity on next steps, I will work with you to help you in making it happen.
My coaching and learning philosophy is based on Neuroscience and how the brain works to facilitate positive change by improving thinking.
In our coaching sessions I will bring into focus the whole YOU. Whilst we may spent our time focusing on say you as a leader or your career, this is only one part of YOU. I'll often use a tool such as LSI 360 or a values exercise to support your self awareness and development.
There are four pillars which underpin my coaching and development work:
Potential – Everyone has the potential to be, do or live the life they want, but we often lack the clarity or confidence around how to make it happen. I will help you to gain clarity around what you want and how you can achieve this, and partner with you on the journey.
Goals – People perform at their best and move towards positive change when they have clear goals. Although goal setting is not everyone’s cup of tea, I will work with you to make it as easy as possible – whilst still stretching and pushing you along the way.
Strengths/ Passion – I put these two words together as they often drive the same internal motivation. If we spent our time developing our strengths and passions we are more likely to stay engaged, are more effective, achieve what we want and are happier.
Balance – This is something we often forget as we become so focused on only one or two parts of our life only, to the detriment of others.
am a big believer in wellbeing and the concept of healthy body = healthy mind... the science behind this is real.
Balance and wellbeing also means making time for loved ones and doing those things you really enjoy doing which are often neglected.
